Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, despite being clean and functional, could use some updating as they look a bit tired. The hotel staff and housekeeping were lacking in attention, especially during breakfast service. However, the rooms were spacious, with a good-sized bathroom and windows that open.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms with amazing views of Christ the Redeemer illuminated at night, but they are directly beneath noisy racket throughout the day. The service was mixed, with slow responses at times but eventual problem-solving and friendly housekeepers and porters leaving positive impressions. The location is convenient, safe, and ideal for beach access and shopping, although the inability to adjust the room's intensity settings created some inconvenience. The dining experience started well with a generous selection but became repetitive after a few mornings. The facilities were adequate but lacked some variety, and the Wi-Fi signal was not consistent.
The hotel had some wonderful features like a sauna in the bathroom and a hydromassage tub that were truly relaxing, but unfortunately, the noise levels made it hard to get quality sleep. The service was exceptional, with knowledgeable and helpful staff. The location, just a short walk from Copacabana beach, was excellent, though being even closer to the beach would have been ideal. The dining offered a good variety of food, including fresh juices and tropical fruits, but it could get busy at times. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few drawbacks.
